Best P&P Scene

Is the one when they both set off at like dawn and meet each other and Darcy goes “You have bewitched me body and soul, and I lo..oo..ve.. you.” I rewind that scene over and over when I watch it.

  1. I’m a hopefull romantic, and when I saw this scene for the first time I was completely overwhelmed. I could not get the memory of it out of my thoughts. Jane Austin, and the people who brought this beauyifull book to the screen have certainly given me a beautifull memory. Thank-you for giving me a look at such an incredible love story.

  3. Oh my God, this scene and the one where he kisses her on the nose, forhead, cheek and finally the lips while calling her Mrs. Darcy are my absolute favorites! So perfectly acted, so much chemistry and so tender and joyful at the same time. If I could have half that passion and devotion in my life I would die a happy woman.

  4. I love that scene as well, but the other, so beautiful is when he hands her into the carriage. As he is walking away, the subtlety of the hand movement, the way you know his hand has been electrified just by touching her. Its just lovely really.

  5. I so agree with you Tara. That scene showed his true feelings n yet he managed to restrain himself from the sizzle of a simple touch though not so subtle. Its so sweet!
