A Love Story
There was a boy
There was a girl
There was a dance
They took a chance
He asked her out
She told him yes
They had a blast
She thought it would last
But he had a past
She had been loved
He had been abused
She could not comprehend this
He wanted her to understand him
She wanted to erase his pain
He would not let her in
There was too much sadness
There were too many bad memories
She would not give up
She loved him that much
He could not believe
That she cared so much for him
That she wanted to be with him
She believed that love could heal
That good memories would replace the bad
That happy times would erase the sad
He began to realize this was for real
It took some time
It took some courage
It took an abundance of love
He told her he had always loved her
She told him she would always love him
There was a proposal
There was a wedding
They had a happy ending
